Crystal Caves - Sequoia National Park

Descending into the Crystal Caves at Sequoia National Park brings a welcome break from the heat, and an escape into an other worldly landscape. This cave is one of hundreds within the park, and only accessible via tour. Mineral deposits drip over thousands of years to slowly reveal these beautiful and delicate shapes.

Hamilton Lake via High Sierra Trail

This was my first time exploring the High Sierra Mountains. We did a 40 mile trek from the Sequoia National Park trailhead through Bearpaw Meadow to Hamilton Lake and back again. The magnitude and scale of the mountains was absolutely jaw dropping. This was one of the best hikes I have had the pleasure and privilege of walking.
