Arken Museum of Modern Art

Wonderful modern art museum, 30 minutes by train southwest of Copenhagen. I wonder why there is such a prominent museum in this tiny town, but it is worth the journey. The building itself is loaded with impressive spaces, from tiny deep red corridors to wide open rooms lit only from above. The exhibits were great too, featuring permanent works from Scandinavian artists Jeppe Hein and Olufar Eliasson, and visiting works from Chinese dissident Ai Wei Wei, and Austrian visionary Hundertwasser.
